A proper wash starts before the mitt touches the paint. Because PREWASH uses an alkaline cleaning formula with foaming action, it helps break down and loosen contamination before physical contact.

Key benefits:

  • Alkaline cleaning formula
  • Foaming application
  • Helps loosen dirt and road grime
  • Designed for use before contact washing
  • Up to 5 minutes of dwell time
  • Dilutable for light or heavy contamination
  • 500 mL concentrated formula

How to Use XCLEANR PREWASH

First, dilute the product according to the level of contamination.

Light dirt – 1:20
Mix 50 mL of PREWASH with 1 L of water.

Heavy dirt – 1:10
Mix 100 mL of PREWASH with 1 L of water.

Next, apply the diluted solution evenly to the vehicle and allow the foam to work for up to five minutes. However, do not allow the product to dry on the surface.

Then, rinse the vehicle thoroughly with water. Finally, continue with XCLEANR SOAP for the contact-wash stage of your detailing routine.

For best results, work on a cool surface and avoid direct conditions that could cause the product to dry prematurely. In addition, always follow the directions and safety information provided on the product label.

Whether you are dealing with routine road film or heavier contamination, this alkaline foaming car prewash gives you a simple first step before contact washing.

As a result, XCLEANR PREWASH helps make the wash process more efficient by loosening contamination before your mitt ever touches the paint.

SMALL DETAILS. BETTER RESULTS.

A good prewash starts with the right conditions and ends with a thorough rinse.

⓵ Keep it cool.

Work on cool surfaces and out of direct sunlight. Give the foam a chance to work without drying too quickly.

⓶ Five minutes is the limit.

Allow the foam to dwell for up to five minutes, never until it dries. Warm or windy conditions may mean rinsing sooner.

⓷ The Mitt is for SOAP

Rinse away the foam and loosened dirt thoroughly. Then begin your contact wash with SOAP and a clean wash mitt.

PREWASH, EXPLAINED.

What to do before the mitt comes out.

What does PREWASH do?

PREWASH is an alkaline foaming cleaner that loosens dirt and road grime before contact washing. It helps you rinse away contamination before using your wash mitt.

What’s the difference between PREWASH and SOAP?

PREWASH is the first step: apply foam, let it work and rinse away loosened dirt.

SOAP is your neutral contact-wash shampoo, used afterward with a wash mitt. They handle different stages of the same wash.

Does PREWASH replace washing by hand?

Not necessarily. PREWASH removes loosened contamination during rinsing, but remaining dirt may still need a contact wash. Follow with SOAP for a thorough clean.

How long should I leave the foam on?

Allow up to five minutes. Never let it dry on the vehicle, and rinse sooner if drying begins. You don’t need to wait the full five minutes in every condition.

Should I scrub while the foam is on?

For the prewash step, let the foam work and rinse thoroughly. Save your wash mitt for the contact wash with SOAP afterward.

Can I apply it to a hot vehicle or in direct sunlight?

Work on a cool vehicle in the shade. Heat and direct sunlight can dry the foam too quickly. Keep your rinse water ready and monitor the surface throughout the application.

Where can I find application and safety information?

Read the product label before use and keep out of reach of children. For complete safety, handling, storage and first-aid information, consult the PREWASH Safety Data Sheet.
