XCLEANR IRON is a low odour iron remover designed to target ferrous contamination during your vehicle detailing routine. As it reacts with iron particles, the formula turns purple so you can clearly see it working. In addition, its reduced-odour formula makes decontamination more pleasant to use.

Low Odour Iron Remover for Visible Decontamination

Even a clean-looking vehicle can still carry embedded ferrous contamination. Because these particles are not always easy to see, IRON provides a visible colour-changing reaction when iron is present.

Key benefits:

  • Targets ferrous contamination
  • Low-odour formula
  • Visible purple reaction
  • Ready-to-use application
  • Ideal for vehicle decontamination
  • 500 mL ready-to-use bottle

How to Use XCLEANR IRON

First, apply the product evenly to the area being treated. Then, allow the formula to react with the ferrous contamination. As the reaction occurs, you will see the product turn purple.

Next, allow sufficient dwell time for the reaction to take place without letting the product dry on the surface. Finally, rinse the treated area thoroughly with water.

For best results, work on a cool surface and avoid allowing the product to dry. In addition, always follow the directions and safety information provided on the product label.

Whether you are performing routine maintenance or a more complete decontamination, this low odour iron remover gives you an easy way to identify and target iron contamination.

As a result, XCLEANR IRON fits easily into a professional or enthusiast detailing routine.

IRON AT WORK

CLEAN LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING.

Discover what IRON targets, what the purple reaction means and why low odour makes a difference.

TARGET THE HIDDEN STUFF.

IRON targets ferrous particles that can remain after routine washing. Take your cleaning process one step further with dedicated chemical decontamination.

PURPLE MEANS IT’S REACTING.

The purple colour shows IRON reacting with ferrous contamination. That satisfying colour change is chemistry at work.

LESS ODOUR. MORE ENJOYABLE.

A low-odour formula makes the decontamination process more pleasant. Because the purple reaction should get your attention—not the smell.

SMALL DETAILS. BETTER RESULTS.

A smarter decontamination routine starts with knowing what you’re treating. DUKX approved.

⓵ CLEAN FIRST.

Remove ordinary dirt before tackling ferrous contamination. For wheels, start with WHEELS and rinse thoroughly before moving to IRON.

⓶ PURPLE ISN’T A TIMER.

The colour change shows a reaction—it doesn’t replace the application instructions. Follow the label’s timing and never let the product dry.

⓷ TARGET CONTAMINATION.

IRON targets ferrous particles. Tar, mineral deposits and other types of contamination need their own cleaning approach.

IRON, EXPLAINED.

What it does. Why it turns purple. How it fits into your wash.

What’s the difference between WHEELS and IRON?

WHEELS cleans road grime and accumulated dirt from wheels and tires, with lubrication to help during brushing.

IRON targets ferrous contamination that requires chemical decontamination.

If you’re using both, clean with WHEELS and rinse thoroughly before applying IRON according to its label. Do not mix the products.

Why does IRON turn purple?

IRON turns purple as it reacts with ferrous contamination. The amount of visible colour can vary depending on the contamination present. Always follow the label’s application instructions rather than judging the process by colour alone.

Does low odour mean odour-free?

No. IRON is formulated for low odour, but some smell remains. Low odour does not change the handling precautions: follow the label and use the product in a well-ventilated area.

Do I need to dilute it?

No. XCLEANR IRON is ready to use straight from the bottle.

Does IRON replace washing or remove every type of contamination?

No. IRON adds a dedicated ferrous decontamination step to your cleaning routine. It does not replace regular washing and is not an all-purpose solution for tar, water spots or every rough-feeling surface.

Where can I find application and safety information?

Read the product label for approved surfaces, application timing and precautions. For complete safety, handling, storage and first-aid information, consult the IRON Safety Data Sheet.
