What’s the difference between WHEELS and IRON?
WHEELS cleans road grime and accumulated dirt from wheels and tires, with lubrication to help during brushing.
IRON targets ferrous contamination that requires chemical decontamination.
If you’re using both, clean with WHEELS and rinse thoroughly before applying IRON according to its label. Do not mix the products.
Why does IRON turn purple?
IRON turns purple as it reacts with ferrous contamination. The amount of visible colour can vary depending on the contamination present. Always follow the label’s application instructions rather than judging the process by colour alone.
Does low odour mean odour-free?
No. IRON is formulated for low odour, but some smell remains. Low odour does not change the handling precautions: follow the label and use the product in a well-ventilated area.
Do I need to dilute it?
No. XCLEANR IRON is ready to use straight from the bottle.
Does IRON replace washing or remove every type of contamination?
No. IRON adds a dedicated ferrous decontamination step to your cleaning routine. It does not replace regular washing and is not an all-purpose solution for tar, water spots or every rough-feeling surface.
